This is a photo of my lover and me. I’m the lanky one in tights. He is the built one with cervical cancer.
Eden has a sweet tummy but this is the photo one he approved. Plus his tummy has been shrinking as he prepares for his hysterectomy - his stomach muscles need to be as strong as possible to make recovery faster. As you will read in his letter he is about to have surgery a lot faster than we planned and we will appreciate any help we can get.
Please reblog and if you know trans men, please encourage them to have regular pap tests done. It could literally save their lives.
Hope you like the photo. It’s courtesy of Tasmin Waterhouse of Lightbox studio in Brisbane.
HIStorectomy
Ok, so here goes. 2012 was the year I planned to have the hysterectomy that the federal government said I have to have to be a bona fide male. That process now needs to happen a little faster than originally planned.
It turns out that the very thing coming out in the hysterectomy has been spoiling over time. A routine pap smear found cancer cells. Thus begins the very hurried process of getting it out.
The hysterectomy was scheduled for the end of the year. I am now looking at having the procedure next month. Along with the surgery I will need several day surgery procedures to isolate the area of concern and perform a biopsy. I am staring down the barrel of a number of expensive specialist appointments in a very short period of time.
Our estimate is that the surgery, including some nights in hospital, will cost a number of thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, the private health insurance I took out last year has a waiting period that, at this point, I cannot wait for.
In order to have all of these procedures completed I need a little help. Tallace and I are taking up the time-honoured tradition of fundraising! If I had the time there would be baking, lemonade stalls and the RSL style chook raffle. Instead, I am asking for friends and friends of friends, or perhaps people that may not know me at all to help raise the funds.
If you would like to help me get my spare parts out, you can make a donation directly to my account.

This picture is about 5 years old now, but I haven’t changed much. My hair is shorter and in a fauxhawk now. I’m the only fat butch dyke I know and I wish I could wear button up shirts.
I have my last law exam tomorrow. Hopefully forever.
You know what would be celebratory? Photos of chubby butches. Please?
19, homo, check me out. I enjoy the company of everyone.. just saying
